Terms & Condition's
Booking and Delivery of your pet to Lookout Paws Boarding facility constitutes as acceptance of the terms and conditions advertised.
Hotel Deposits
A 50% Deposit is required to be paid at the time of booking; No Bookings can be held without a deposit. All deposits are non-refundable in all cases.
Deposit Transfers
Deposits can be transferred to new dates once we are notified BEFORE 14 days of your pets original intended stay.
Any Cancellation within 14 days of your pets stay, no monies paid is refundable OR transferable and cannot be credited to your account.
Final Payment
Final Payment for the full boarding term is required on the Day of arrival in CASH. We ask where possible to have the exact amount ready on the day of check in as change is not always readily available.
● There is no refund or credit for early holiday returns.
All boarding rates are charged on a calendar day basis.
Cancellations
Any cancellation within 14 days of your pets stay will result in your deposit being lost.
Socialization
Once assessed and suitable, pets are socialised together during the day. If we feel a pet is not suitable to be mixing with other dogs or it is stated by the owner at check in, then these pets will have individual off lead time. Every reasonable precaution is taken in our facility to avoid injury resulting from dog play, However, just like a child in a payground, accidents can happen. We, Lookout Paws, accept no responsibility for injury resulting from time spent in our facility. If your pet is injured during their time in our care we will make every attempt to contact the primary contact and will seek vet care from our local vets. However, you as the owner will be responsible for the cost of treatment. By booking your pet into our facility you are acknowledging this.
Vaccinations
You must provide proof that your pet’s vaccinations are up-to-date with their yearly boosters INCLUDING Kennel Cough. No animal will be accepted unless these vaccinations are up-to-date.
A pet can NOT come into our facility for 10 days after the vaccination as this is a live vaccination and can put others at risk, this is for all cases, vaccination renewal & first time vaccines.
➜ Please note that vaccinations are required to reduce the possibility of your pet getting sick, it does not eliminate the possibility. It is still possible for a dog that is vaccinated against kennel cough to catch it, spread it and show symptoms. However, vaccinated dogs usually have milder symptoms compared to those who haven't been vaccinated.
It is every pet owners responsibility to ensure their pets vaccines are up to date each year.
Dog’s Vaccination Requirements:
Food
Your Pet’s own food must be supplied by you, this is to avoid any stomach upsets during your pets stay.
Medication
Medications must be in their original, labelled container with vet sticker attached or it will NOT be administrated.
Belongings/Property
Being situated in the countryside & on a working equestrian yard, Pets belongings may go home with a odour and/or dirty. Lookout Paws will do everything in its power to avoid this however, pets are walked in all weather types so this may be unavoidable.
Bedding and toys are left at the owners own risk. Belongings such as beds & toys may go home damaged/chewed however, we will again do everything in our power to prevent this.
Additional Charges
If your pet becomes ill or if the state of the animal’s health requires professional attention, Lookout Paws in its sole discretion, may engage the services of a veterinarian, administer medicine or give other requisite attention to the animal, and the expenses thereof shall be paid by the owner.
Lookout Paws staff will make every attempt to contact the Owner prior to engaging such services when possible. The Pet Owner further agrees to pay all costs and charges for special services such as additional food and any emergency veterinary costs for their pet during the time said pet is in the care of Lookout Paws.
The Pet Owner agrees to give permission to Lookout Paws Dog Boarding to allow personal information regarding Owner and Pet to be given to or received from a duly licensed veterinarian. Lookout Paws cannot be held responsible for injury, illness or sudden death arising during your dog’s time in our Boarding Facility
When you return home
Pets may be out of their daily routine when they return home and may take a few days to settle back in.
We are located in the Countryside and pets are walked within our walking field, we recommend treating your pet for ticks, fleas & Worms before their stay.
Pets may also go home dirty as a result from bad weather or walking in the field.
